Hello, I'm William Mansfield, and photography has been a part of my life for more than 40 years.
What began as a curiosity with a camera grew into a lifelong passion for capturing the world around me. Over the years, I've photographed everything from breathtaking landscapes and winding back roads to historic places, wildlife, and the quiet details that many people overlook. For me, photography isn't just about creating beautiful images—it's about preserving moments, telling stories, and sharing the beauty I discover along the way.
Unlike many photographers today, I continue to shoot and develop my own 35mm and medium format film while also embracing modern digital photography. Each medium offers a unique perspective, and I enjoy using both to create images that reflect the scene as I experienced it.
Travel has become one of my greatest sources of inspiration. Whether exploring America's National Parks, driving scenic highways, visiting small towns rich in history, or simply wandering through nature with a camera in hand, I'm always searching for the next photograph waiting to be discovered.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll often find me planning my next adventure, traveling with my RV, or exploring new places that offer opportunities to experience and photograph the natural beauty of our country.
